MMG=Medical Marijuana Grower

IMO, lights should be 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flower. I have tried lighting on for 24 hours and haven't noticed any difference, except for the electric bill.

That should be enough bulbs to get you through the vegetative stage of growth for a 1x1 room...

if you're a little restricted on time you could push them into flower a little early on by throwing them under the HPS and switching the light cycle to 12/12 when you have about 2 months left....

Kinda stinks that you're on a time schedule though because in that time the plants may not fully mature...

as pappy said, for veg go with 18/6 so your plants a period of darkness - its important for proper grow. and yes, MMG it is the abbreviation for a medical grower.

as crewdude told you - i use also 4 tubes on about the equivalent area. it is surely enough to veg well with - more hardly ever harms but isn't needed really - watch the "Mr Green" video he give good info on setting up the lights

the full thing you can watch at pot-tv POT-TV: Mr. Green: I Grow Chronic
either as stream or download as torrent (i would download it as it is pretty cool to watch but damn long)
