Default When should I start adding blooming nutes?

When the lights are switched to 12/12 the plant will receive and process signals to begin flowering.

During the flowering cycle the plant will double or maybe triple in height.

The first 1/3 of the flower cycle is spent in a lush growth spurt, after which the real work begins: producing some bud.

New growers usually miss out on the full potential of their plants by switching to a bloom formula too early. I suggest using a vegetative fertalizer through the "stretch" phase, then switching to a bloom/fruit formula.

In plain english, I'd continue to use my vegging nutes for the 1st 7 to 10 days of flowering, than switch to flowering nutes.
Peace

I think that makes good sense Vid....I blended veg nutes with flower nuts durring the in this ratio
3/4 veg 1/4 quarter flower last week of veg
1/2 veg 1/2 flower week one of flower
1/4 veg 3/4 flower week two of flower

no reason to do this other than I thought is would help the plants (gradual change is best)

of course the overall fert concentation is adusted so that I do not over fertalize...perhaps the second only to overwatering as far as mistakes go...

Do you think this makes sense or too much measurings and calculating?

Scott, I think what you are doing is fine. You've harvested before, let the smoke speak for itself, was it great? I'm betting it was.
Peace
