What's a POST, a THREAD or FORUM ?

I 've had several new members ask me in PMs, (Private Messages) to explain this site.
NOT explain the Mission Purpose, but how to post and what is a Forum, what is an Avatar, a THREAD, etc...........
When you view the site's HOME PAGE, "Marijuana Growing - Greenpassion.org "you see it divided into FORUM GROUPS,
titled
THE BASICS,
THE GARDENS,
420 Cafe.
Within those GROUPS are FORUMS or Subject Headers. Those Forum Names or Titles are links to that Forum. In the FORUMs are THREADS and in the THREADS are POSTS.
For example, there is a Group in THE FORUM GROUP called THE GARDENS and in THE GARDENS is a Forum named INTRODUCE YOURSELF. To the right of the words INTRODUCE YOURSELF you see a link to the last most recent or newest post within that Forum INTRODUCE YOURSELF. In that right side, you see the name of the THREAD that new POST is in.
If you click on the words or link INTRODUCE YOURSELF you go to that FORUM. Now you can click on the names of the THREADS and read them. There you can respond and comment by making your own POST.
OR you can click on NEW THREAD, in the Upper Left hand Corner, and you can start your own New Thread.

So POSTs are in THREADs, and THREADs are in FORUMs.
