Default what no rain ?now getting cold.

what no rain for 8 days ,well there has been a little ,still do not have to water them apart from added fertilizers ,2 out of 5 is budding .1 is budding like mad ,and 1 is just budding,
now my problem is it is
should i cover the plants that are not budding to make them bud ?1 is in a pot so can be moved inside if i have to,i also got one in my herb garden in a large planter could dig it up take it inside later.
it is getting cold at night, what can the plants take, frost will damage my girls ,below what temp should i start to worry? ,could put a big cardboard box/ big plastic bag over everything? is it a good idea? does any of you ladies and gentlemen think this is a good way to keep cold temp/frost off for now
.1 last question after a late night chat with a mate ,if a branch got broken off could you put in vase to in the sun to mature the buds on it ,i say it could work, and what have you to lose ,mate says through it away.

NEVER throw away a broken branch. If you don't want to smoke it, it can be dried and used for cooking. Butter, brownies, cookies, etc.

no, i don't think so, with flowers you cut em right before the open up - so there is no grow, there just hydraulic pressure that forces the flower open.

if you just put it into a glass of water it will sit there for some time and start wilt and everything below the water line will root. there are no roots to feed the branch, not enough leaves to fully power it, so no grows will occur.

What would you have to lose. The branch is broken anyway. I would do something like treating the branch like a cutting, treat the open end and stab it back into the pot. What the hell? If it doesn't work, it was dead anyway.

If you have the time and space I would try just so you know from doing it. I always like to try but if it doesnt work then you can do the drying idea and make some great brownies
