Hi all , firstly let me apoligise for the poor diagram , i was never gifted with drawing lol , im getting my cool tube tommorow and rvk fan , so i went into my attic/loft and have found a 6 inch thick tar layering , and i wont be able to drill through it to make the exhuasthole i need ,so i came up with a quick diagram of my new idea . theres a few things i didnt draw in the diagram as i thought it looked bad as it was i didnt want to over complicate it . there will be a 6 inch exuast fan with carbon filter attached to the 600w cool tube . the exhuast vent grill will be on the same wall as the doors in which the passive intake air will be. the room in which the exhuast and passive intake vent's will be is very well ventalated with constant fresh air . so i cant see this being a problem but i jsut thought i would get second opinions .

You could also tie into some other vent that goes through you roof with a y splitter and a one way damper to prevent backflow. This time of year I enjoy the extra heat of exhausting inside

The only problem I see, (if Im reading it right) you are blowing through the carbon filter as opposed to sucking through it. The filters are designed to pull air into them that cloth filter on the outside of the carbon filter keeps dust from getting trapped inside the carbon. Decreasing the life of the activated carbon
(Although tons of people do it that way they just change there filters more often)

i have seen a couple threads of people advising that didnt know there was a reason for that , thank you for the advice . would i be able to put the carbon filter on the the air intake side of the cool tube ? so then air goes through carbon filter then cool tube then exhuast fan then out the vent ?
UK, that will probably work for you depending on the strength of your fan. I had a small fan at one point and tried it like this Filter -- Air cooled hood -- exhaust fan
The fan that I had wasnt strong enough to exhaust any air. If your using a cool tube, it will "Probably" work.
