i have 6 plants in a cupboard and the leaves are touching the sides, is this a problem?

not unless there is some chemical on the walls that could hurt them. make sure the place is clean, other than that good to go!

the walls are clean but i have no circulation.
i do leave the cupboard door open and its quite close to an open window.
is this ok?

Get one or two of them 12v pc fans. If you cant do the electric, tape a 9 vold battery near the fan, and attach the wires to the battery. Whola, instant, portable air circulation.
