I bought some crude black strap molasses earlier, no mention of sulphur in the ingredients, but just now noticed the allergy data on the jar says it contains sulphur dioxide. Can I use this or would that be a bad idea?

go with ISO on this, sulphur has it uses in a grow room but not in our molasses. try to buy food great products and keep in mind that hemp/cannabis act like a swamp for toxins which get absorbed thru the roots, it still in use to clean up Chernobyl to do just that, so you don't want to feed your babies anything you wouldn't want to smoke in the first place

Pot plants do need trace amounts of sulphur. Plants lacking in this trace element show a yellowing of new growth as well as becoming brittle and growth slows. Also plays a part in root growth. GL HH
I have used blackstrap molasses and it's great. I don't understand why you are saying that sulphur is bad for the plants though; doesn't it help combat powdery mildew?
Wouldn't it be better to add it systemically to the plant as opposed to using a sulphur burner?
