Hey guys. I'm about three weeks in and my babies are looking good. I'm pretty sure I can see the small white hairs meaning that they are female plants. I have a couple questions in regard to what I should do now.

1) I've read that the best time to start feeding the plant is when the sex is revealed and it seems as though that time has come. I want to give it a blooming nutrient. Is Big Bud good for this?

2) Also, I've been on a strict 18/6 lighting schedule with 6 5500k CFL lights running. Should I be switching to 2700K lights at all for the flowering period? And if so, how many should I use now? I am using a Rubbermaid box with flat white paint on the inside.

If you guys can help me out with this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks yall!

yes you switch over to the 2700K for flowering. Actually I would use four 2700K and two 6500K, they like the mix but the ratio for flowering should be towards the 2700K. you are using FoxFarm Grow/Bloom/TigerBloom combo in FoxFarm OceanForest correct? When you get into flowering nutrients (tigerbloom and big bloom) are definitely needed. big bud is just a carbo-loading bloom booster i believe like Sweet (or if you wanna save money like i do.....use Blackstrap Molasses). hope this helps! good luck

AWesome ill get those 2700k in there today. I haven't used any nutes yet as I was told that the Foxfarm ocean forest soil would provide enough nutes for three weeks. So I should go to the hydro store and get tigerbloom and big boom? I might look into that blackstrap molasses as well..Thanks for the help! If anyone else cares to add onto this please do. I need all the input I can get!

Just be careful when starting to use the bloom nutes. From my understanding, the FFOF has almost all the nutes you'll need for close to 3 months! I've heard of people using nothing but P/K boosters in flower, the soil handles all the micros and the N.

I'd start off at 1/4 strength and add more if the plant looks like it wants it.

Are you going to start flowering. You dont want to use flowering nutes till you start to flower. I like to mix veg and flower nutes together for the first watering. The recomended NPK for veg is 10-10-10 and for flower its 10-30-20. If you start with the flower nutes while still vegging you can create deficencys later down the line. Good luck!

Thanks for all the input guys! Yea im starting to flower so I think I'm probably going to go with the foxfarm tigerbloom and big bloom. The thing is is that low ryders grow mad fast and from what I read, you can start flowering after they show their sex. I'm gonna give it the weekend before I actually apply the nutes as though it seems the plants are doing well without it for now. My last question is can I also add Big Bud to the combo of Tiger Boom and Big Bloom? or would it be alot better to just add that Blackstrap Molasses?

Umm, aren't those autoflowers? If so, they'll start flowering all on their own. Are they clones? If so, then they sure aren't autos!

If they are, let htem do their own thing, they'll flower when they're ready.
