Required Reading for a 1st time Visitor - GreenPassion.org - Dedicated to Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation and Education

Greetings friends,
I just wanted to personally welcome you to Greenpassion. I am Jangel, and my partners, Jonnyappleweed and Scott06, and I, own GreenPassion.

First off, please realize we have people from all over the world, and all ages here. We do not allow profanity nor do we allow pornograghy of any kind.

Welcome to our Home!

Here is our mission statement

There are so many things that you can do here it's hard to sum them all up in just one message. So if you have any questions don't hesitate to start a thread. Also our Moderators are available for help (if they aren't available you can always send me a message directly). Please try to remember that questions concerning growing should be made in a post, not in a private message. Being an open forum, answering grow questions in private messages, would be counter productive to the forum.

We are also involved in joining sites together for co-operative sharing and legalization of our herb. More on that further down the page.

Some things that will help get you started:

• Greenpassion is dedicated to educating the public, and with your support we can carry the message together. Our information is freely shared with everyone.

• Allow for the responsible medical and non-medical use of marijuana

• Minimize the harms associated with marijuana consumption and the laws that manage its use.

• A must read, is the forums rules, you can find them here.

• If you need learn about how to use a forum, here is a link to learn how to make a post.

• There is tons of information here. Some of our members start grow journals with pictures, sort of like a diary. We are a friendly bunch. You might want to start with an introduction, so everyone gets to know you, and you get a chance to know them too. We have an introduce yourself thread here.

We pride ourselves on growing some top quality ganja….most of the time!

We also offer, marijuana radio, a public calendar, a photo gallery, fm radio, and an arcade for those stoner moments when you just wanna veg out.

Speaking of stoner moments, and vegging out, you can also listen to our theme song, sung by "the freaks" here. We are working on a more modern one so stay tunned for that.
(Ya gotta get ripped first, before you listen to it, it's way more fun that way)

So these are a few things that you can do now that you are a member here at Greenpassion. Definitely let me know if you have any suggestions as to how we can make Greenpassion better. I'm always open to suggestions and feed-back so don't hesitate to ask.

So those are just a few of the things that can get you going at Greenpassion, but as you start to browse through the site you'll find there are far more.

In the spirit of friendship and Our Dream of all sites joining together in a common cause, legalizing our herb,

GreenPassion.org wishes to welcome one and all, mods, admins, members, doesn't matter, to our Home Green Passion,

We wish to here about your sites and also wish to offer a new thought to one and all. We see this as an opportunity to grow with each other as friends. No more do we want to be part of bashing each other and site wars and all that other nonsense. It gets us all nowhere and only causes paranoia and fear, pitting one against the other. It is pointless and a useless way to go forward.

We all need to improve the view the world has of Marijuana users, whether med mj or recreational mj. We have to change our image to be worthy of what we truly need to happen:

LEGALIZATION WORLDWIDE.

In order to do this we propose to start a links page with other site's direct links posted and hosted on our site and their site as well. We are not doing this to steal members or for profit at all. We wish to share information and wisdom on our herb, as well as to reach our universal goal, legalization, and for no other reason.

Think of the power we can gain working on this in concert with all the other sites all over the world? Maybe we are dreamers, but what a dream! Being splintered this way, into different sites with different politics, is not working for this cause.

We ALL have to work together.

If we join hands and hearts to do this together, we can do
MIRACLES folks!

This thought can encompass many many aspects, a universal data base with info from all sites to help everyone, to name just one possibility. Many other projects could also be done to help us all, not just one site or one group.

We have found in the past while, we have many friends from other sites already, which helped us greatly when we needed it. You all know who you are and how much that was appreciated. This is the way it should be.

Maybe we will become known as

THE LITTLE SITE THAT COULD, GREENPASSION.ORG!!!!

So any admins from other sites, mods from other sites, or members from other sites PLEASE Let us know about how you feel about this and where your "Home" site is.

And do not fear, all are welcome here!

Just to update this, we now have many new members from other sites: mods and admins, site owners and members coming by and sharing ideas they have about this project, and man oh man! It is all good! I believe right now there are 24 seperate sites listed on our Hot sites list on the home page. Growing all the time!

There is now a new forum under Politics entitled Cannabis Activist~Idea Interchange. In there you can read about a project that is in the works that proves this action WILL work if we work at it. The epitomy of what we are reaching for, with our good friends at Cannacare, and it is already happening! Take a read of this folks!

What Co-operative Sites CAN do! Cannacare

AND we have Over Grow the Government 2009 (OGG~2009) as an individual project every one can take part in and tell others about. Soon we will have printable info about this so members can print it, and pass this info out and get everyone on board. Also, take a read through the other ideas from many places that are being shared. Keep thinking and sharing, one and all. This way this will work.

We also have a new forum with Printable Wallpapers for you to print and give your hydro store, your Health food Store,friends, your Compassion Center, Head Shops wherever, to get the word out. I mean these are beautiful folks.

It is all because of all of you. It is coming together folks and this is just the start!
