Proper temp for drying?

What is the propert temp for drying? Sorry, but this is my first time. TY

At harvest-time all you have to do is cut the plant as low as possible and hang the whole thing upside down to dry on a line. The room you use to dry should be the about the same size you grew in (if not the same room). The humidity should remain a constant 50-60%. Too high and buds will mold, too low and they dry too fast and taste bad. Temperature should be around 65-68 degrees, wherever possible. Make sure the room is dark, as light degrades THC.

There's more than one way to skin this cat...

I believe there are some methods better than others, and what ETG suggested is one of the better ones. If space is an issue (it usually is..LOL) you can make yourself a drying cabinet that fits where you need it, and it can do a great job for ya.

When I harvest a plant I take the branches off one at a time, and harvest the individual buds, then place them on a screen shelf and that goes into a "drying closet". Keeping the humidity 40%-50% is perfect as you don't want it drying too fast, or too slow and get moldy. I usually give mine 3-5 days in the dry closet, then into a canning jar for curing.

personaly i harvest the thing branch by branch leaving a 4cm piece of the main stem atached so as to be able to hang it up from the internode on the main stem on a wire or else it hangs from the last bud.
i believe the room should be very well aerated with a constant breaze because stagnant air causes mold. as to humidity .. i dunno, ive dried in hotter drier weather and in colder more humid weather... 4 me it depends on the weather.. if its too cold though i get some heaters going near the buds...
iv never gotten mold.. but in colder weather it takes longer thats for sure

65-68f temp seems to be a bit low compared with what others are doing. Why not 75-80f and 40-45% humdity; will that work? Thank you. topgun57
