Default OK here goes...

I have fibromyalgia and hadn't smoked in over 20 yrs. Started smoking again and a funny thing happened.... I wasn't in pain and I could sleep again. As you know the price of mj has changed in the last 20 years lol. Wow what a change! but the mj is SO much better So now I'm tring to figure out how to grow it. I had a few plants this year. 4 in all. I planted them outside. I watered them and watched them grow. 1 plant something ate. 2 plants were male. And the other didn't do much. I have to get more seeds and start over. And hopefully with reading and writing on here will do much better this time. I'm very fond of white widow but have no clue where to get seeds. My last stash didn't have any. Rarely does. I read that if you buy some just do it in small amounts. Where do I look to buy? And what other kinds might be as good or better to grow? Thank you for your time (and hopefully not thinking this is a silly question)
peace and goodlovin...

Thank you! I have tried both light and deep. If it's too deep it makes it worse. This freaking change in the weather stinks too. Bad week and on the look out for mj. (I'll be cool this weekend) Love late spring and summer lol.I'll check out the site and get started. But I should do my homework while I wait. lol Read all about the "how to" stuff. Can't wait to start.
thanks

Some say it is better to buy feminized seed. Some say it is a rip off. Do your research and check out the sellers well first.

Welcome to GreenPassion! Hope you enjoy the site.

Peace

peace love and all that good stuff
The first set of seeds i bought were femminised GrowXXX, they were a good bit cheaper than any of the other brands in the shop and all turned out to be male (8 out of 10 popped). Second set i bought were Pyramid seeds, a bit more expensive (€8 per seed versus €5 per seed from GrowXXX) and all popped and all female.
Can't say whether i was really unlucky on my first attempt or really lucky on my second but my recommendation would be good quality femminised seeds, worth spending a bit more at the start then wasting time on males (although it's as good a way as any to learn if it's your first grow).

I like femmed seeds - in theory. But, you really need a trustworthy source.

Mountain Girl, my wife has fibromyalgia as well. Our neighbor got her to try it again, like you after 20 years. Again like you it has helped her better then any meds the doctors give her. There is alot of great information here, as well as a lot of great people that help as well.

Lumix, thanks for post about what would be best for me to grow to help her. I will be looking into buying some of them. My wife also gets massages and the light touch is better for her. But every now and then she comes across someone that is like you, and knows how to give a deep massage without hurting her.

Thanks for the post and responses.

Have you thought about an Indoor Grow, this way you can manage the bugs.
PLus with Winter fast approaching you will have to wait until Spring before you can grow outside again.

I guarantee if you need help.... Everybody will give you a hand.

Hi Mountain Girl, I too have fibro, have had it for many years, I am out of weed right now and the pain is keeping me awake and just ruining my days.. I should have my harvest in about another four weeks or less and I can't wait. I wish you luck and happy growing to you....
