you could always add a little rooting hormone to the water. and dont think your the only one. the first transplant in my grow i nearly dropped the thing behind a dresser. and then later on in the grow the same plant i had trouble transplanting the 3rd time around. these things happen. especially if you are like me and smoke before you go work with your babies.

You can use it anywhere you use water. I use Superthrive probably more than anyone you have ever heard of. I had 20 plants in the ground I started from seed, also using Superthrive. I had 2 males. A steller percentage even if you are not using superthrive. You can buy it almost anywhere, garden center. I just order it from ebay. I am lazy. I do most stuff different than other folks.
Here is what I would do. 3 drops Superthrive and 3 drops of H2(humic acid)1/4 cup of water soak for 10 mins and stick it. I know you don't have H2 but you might think about some in the future. So 3 drops Superthrive. I do not know what kind of rooting compound you use. But you could use a diluted soution. Check out my albums for pics of plants treated with the stuff.

Hey sweetie, don't panic, put that baby in the smaller pot, with GOOD soil and do what wb and sentra told you and you will be fine. Either way, it was going to be toast in the first place. Just go with it, and watch and DO NOT OVER WATER this time. You can dust the root ball with some rooting powder and those roots will take off. It is quite often done when root pruning. And it works.

Peace

good question Lily, if it is a big plant the leaf structure won't support the plant and therefore i would trim the plant down excessively, replant the jiffy into a bigger pot with a light weight perlite/soil mix. if it is a little plant, less then 4" and not too many leaves, i would just stick it back into the dirt and let it grow.

you could also use it in a DWC unit, shaman was aways using jiffies for his plants and it worked more then well for him. so shouldn't be a problem either
