the bloom fert i use is bio bloom, the npk is 2-6-3.
i noticed people using nutes with npk's of 20-20-20 for example.

is the fert im using to weak or is the npk low because its an org fert?

From my quick read of the following url my understanding is that the numbers represent the percentage, by weight, of each component. So 5-20-10 would mean that 5% of the fertilizer is nitrogen, 20% phosphorus and 10% potassium.

Chemical composition numbers for organic based fertilizers will always be much lower. It does not mean in any way that they are less effective than chemical industry ferts.
For many years, I have only used only organic solutions with excellent results; along with my own compost and growing medium, I have healthy productive plants.
In both outside and indoor grows, these products have worked equally well for me. I'm currently using Botanicare products, though only as they're easily obtained for me. I have used the expensive 'Pot Magazine' products early on, but don't see the need of the inflated price.
Due to the heat here in TX, and my grow rooms in our garden shed, I'm limited to growing during the cooler months. I don't care to have the expense of an AC window unit cooling the shed. The organic's work quite well, and in my experience, are less apt to cause a nutrition burn.
For my outside grows, I use two different strengths of application, as some plants are in pots, and others in the ground. I simply follow the manufactures recommendations, though some strains like a bit more, and some less. Experience will soon be your guide.
