| well as soon as there is something to train - if you top them after they grown about 3-4 notches up, take the top notch off and wait for the plant to grow 2 branches in replacement, these you wire then down for LST and also can be topped for even more main branches. the other way is to wire the plant down now in it entire length and new grow is wired down in the same manner to first form a ring from a main stem and let the branches grow up - this method should be introduced in the grow as soon as possible as the stem gets stiffer with the time till it breaks and not bands anymore.

| I have found using Jangel's method to be very good for most applications where you just need to bend a top over to keep it out of the light. True training will take some co-ordinated tying down, no? ISO

| I started training my plants once they where about 10 inches or over. You can do the same as the traditional methods this way as with wire and drilling and tying them down, in my opinion. I went in circles, to help all the side shoots to develope as is the reasoning in traditional methods. It works. Here's the link and you can check it out. http://www.greenpassion.org/f46/low-...-wieghts-5995/ Also stuff from others in the thread. have fun!!
