Rep Power: 107 | | Leaves are looking a little down and out
What is wrong with these two babies? They are the oldest out of the bunch. Love this place and thank you for all your help and advice for this noob.
My ph run off is 6.6-6.8 - potting soil and 40% perlite. Each time they are watered it's 10-10-10 fert which is watered down so the ph is normal. Are these babies not getting enough nuts maybe? They live in the basement so I have them on a seedling warmer but still waiting on my digital thermostat to tell if it's too warm or cold and no humity reading yet either.
This is bag seed and I'm hoping to have a good turn out. If not at least I'm learning and will do better next turn out.
Thanks alot and take care!

Do you have a pic of the whole plant? This chart might help.If its only the bottom leaves,Its prolly nothing but if its the whole plant looking like that, you indeed have a problem.Cut back on the plant food.Water a few times letting them dry out good then feed way less http://greenpassion.org/index.php
This sheet helps us also.If you can fill it out ,we can help and be accurate http://greenpassion.org/showthread.php?t=14093
Hope its nothing...

It looks like you might be over feeding and watering them. And not letting them dry out in between. Also, what kind of water are you giving them? They look like they have a shortage of mag/cal. You can give them some epsom salts, mixed at the rate of 1 teaspoon per gallon of water, next time you water and see if it helps. But you should let them dry out more in between waterings I think. You could even just stirr some bone meal into the top of the soil, and that could help them. Are they root bound? Are there roots coming out the holes of the pot?
And what are your temps like? The more you tell us, the better we can help you sweetie.
Peace

Thanks a lot for your information. Yeah I water them every morning and the pots are pretty light & dry when I pick em up. How long should I let them go dry before watering again? Half day longer for this stage?
I just re-potted them to the 8oz cups because the roots were starting to come out of the jiffy peat pallets. No roots coming out of the bottom of the cups yet. Thanks Pine and Jangel for all your continuing help~ XOXO

I haven't watered them today yet. Stuck my finger in one and she was still wet, but I dusted the tops of the dirt/perlite with bone meal anyways. When they need to be watered (distilled only for a little while) I will test their ph runoff. Thanks and lots of light and love !!

Rep Power: 500 | | If you can please give us the below info. We need as much info as you can give us to help YOU! If they where growing out of the peat pellets that means they had no food at all as peat has nothing to feed the small plant. I need to see the whole plant to help you further. I also need to know WHAT you planted them into. What type of soil/soiless mix and what the bag says, if there is food in it. Also the type of water you are giving them makes a huge difference. If you want to know what I would do is to find a Fish based fertilizer, organic, that has nitrogen in it. Tell me also what you added to the soil, I see perlite in there but how much per how much soil?
The more YOU tell us the better. How to Get Help with your Plants the easy way!
We can help you find the answers to your questions easier and the RIGHT answer if you will do this: When asking a question state the grow type.....and answer these questions: 1. Soil or Hydro ??? Okay, first off just like in my first grow, you have no magnesium or calcium in your water, same with me. I have to use some sort of magnesium and calcium supplement and I use a bit every time or I water them. i use Reverse osmosis water so that too does not have any. I got a little jug of mg/max from my local hydro store. About 8 bucks, You just use about a tsp per gallon of water. Or you can do it cheaper and add epsom salts and lime. bone meal helps too. If you wish to laugh you can look at my first indoor grow in my signature, the first link. It is a learning curve but we will help you, my dear. Maybe also really check they are dry when you water them. but not wilting. But also remember, it is a weed! Have fun!
Peace

That is just fine sweetie. Perfect temp and humidity. Did you take the temp from where the tops of the plants are under the lights or just general air temp? You need to get it as close to where the plants tops are as you can. This gives you the best reading. Now you have replanted them, take the sick dead leaves off them. They look like they are done, and if your new leaves are good, then don't fix what is not broken. Let them be for a few days, and see how they come along. You can also mix in some bone meal into the water and let it bubble or dissolve for a bit before you water them. One other test you can do to test for dryness: Take your finger, and push it into the dirt, then quickly touch your face. If it is cold, then there is still water in there. If not, then water them.
Peace

I was taking the temp at the wrong area lol - You are so helpful and sweet J~
I scratched bonemeal into my exsisting 8 oz plant cups and made new dirt for the babies that were in those peat pots. 50% soil 50%perlite and a lil bonemeal.
Awesome info about the dryness test, Now I will never overwater again!!
Lots of light and blessings,

Next time you pot those babies up let me know and I will give you an idea of a mix to use. They are still pretty young but you will need a better mix as they get bigger. You are on the right track now, so not to worry. They will improve.
And thank you very much bigmomma, you are pretty sweet yourself, my dear. It is so nice to be kind to each other. Prevents so much strife in our world....if everyone would just be as good to each other as they want others to be to them aiy?
Have a shinning day my dear one!
Peace

I'm still getting those speckling and dying of the older leaves and it's starting to effect all the leaves and all my plants. Without water my dirt is around 6.0, with water is 6.6-6.8, is that okay?
Would a PPM tester help me out?
Lots of light and blessings,

I have had horrible results with generic potting soil. God only knows what's really in there.
I recommend you get some good soil, like maybe Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Odds are, that will fix the issues.
Also, be careful that your perlite doesn't have added nutrients. Miracle Grow perlite has that crap they call "plant food" in it.

Thank you for all your help and responses. I'm thinking it's nut burn and a lockout of iron and mag that I only corrected in the water last time(2 and 3/4 days ago). I'm going to flush the dirt again tomorrow and double check EVERYTHING. Reading a lot and it looks like it helps if your water is tempered and bubble stones helps so I'm using this well water about ph7.2 temp 78% tomorrow when it's time to water. PH of the dirt makes the runoff of the flushing ph6.8.
Some of this also is from me overwatering in the past. And then using too much fert in my water. This is the 2nd day in a 3day wait to water so hopefully this flush will help.
Thank you all again for all the help and take care =)
