| Hey people..There is no one thing that you can do to double or even triple your yeilds. I'm sorry to tell you this, but it is the truth, plain and simple. There is however several tweaks you can do to improve your yeild by lets say maybe 5% or maybe even 10% if you are lucky. One thing that you have to learn early on, is that the clock is ticking against you, and every mistake you make counts against you, as much as everything you do right counts for you. There is no way you are going to change this fact, there is a set number of days to flower, and if you make a mistake, and you'll pay for it in the end. A prime example of making a mistake is when you water your plants. You only get one chance to water your plants, make a mistake here, and you'll have to wait til the next watering to make up for it. The proper PH for a soil grow is between 6.3 and 6.8. If you neglected to PH your water, and just went ahead and watered your plants, you messed up, and certain nutrients are going to be locked out of the roots because the roots can't get to these nutes if the PH is outside of this range. A PH meter is a must have for every grower. So the importance of testing the PH is eveident here. If you PH your water each and every time you water or feed them, your plant can take in all the nutrients that it needs, make a mistake, and you'll be starving the plant. It'll sort of be like dying of dehydration, in the middle of a lake. So pictured below are some of the essential tools for every grow. Peace ![]()

| hi video man... reckon a ph meter is needed for guerrilla growing? i ask for a few reasons, i know i probably COULD help, but, adjusting PH in the bush is v dificult. Id have to be constantly at it wouldnt I? i mean, sinse i go there only afew time in the growing season, i cant control water PH or soil PH.... or can I?, thats my question. if i could.. id probably up my yields. BT way i grow in mainly pine forests, and the soil (except around the plants) usually goes pwder dry, hard and compact under the blistering sun... these are harsh conditions, ive lost a few plots in my time to drought. what do you recomend PHwise . WATERwise im constantly working on it. Last edited by ileso; 08-07-2008 at 04:19 AM. Reason: felt like it | ||||||||

| Hey there Ileso, I forgot who it is on the site that grows outdoors, but I remember reading his post and he actually gets soil sample analyzed and adds the needed nutes well in advance of growing season. Maybe Jangle will remember who it is. Just a thought. Peace, Sock | ||||||||

| It is GSR. Over the years he has improved his soil for growing by testing and adding to it by that report. Now he has the best quality soil he can get. And he owns the land he grows on as well. Peace

| thanks, bit dificult for me to do that as i never use the same plot twice in a row, that raises the probability of it being found, cause of trails and stuff... hunters love to follow trails, and the locals would too if they see a trail they didnt know. but ill keep it in mind for when i get a plot of my own thanks again | ||||||||
