Rep Power: 89 | | [I want short bushy mother plants] Is there a best practice to follow?
Im well into my 2nd 3rd and 4th cycles (bagseed), and Ive got 3 new plants from seed (strawberry cough) that are somewhere near 2 months old.
I want to take sc clones soon and Im thinking the best way is to start on the top and top the plant then "top" each branch when its time to clone and follow that cycle around on all uncut branches on the momma in a vicious circle....
Im just trying to avoid having tall moms in the veg side of things to make it easier to keep the cuttings close to the light.

Jangel,
Thanks for the linkage.
I ended up finding something a bit more along the lines I was looking for.
Turns out they are called Bonsai Mothers. Thanks again.

Plus one of the members has shown his that he is doing it with. It shows how you can have say 6 inch clones and get close to 9200 clones a year off them by bonsai ing them. Fascinating stuff. I have some clones coming along I am going to do as well.
Peace
