How soon?

I have 4 clones in a bucket DWC system I made. All 4 girls now have an unbelievable root system and growing very fast. I am wanting to take a cutting from each and them stick them in my flower box. How soon can I force the clones into budding? I am still new to the cloning world. I understand that letting them grow taller will allow more bud sites but space is an issue( using a rubbermaid setup for flower box....thnx to SmokeDoja).
At the moment, all four have six strong nodes... is this enough? or should I wait a bit longer? I like this strain, although not sure which one it really is...from bagseed. It seems to like the indoor setting I have provided, so I am going to attempt re-cloning instead of germinating new seeds since I know I have a female.

Hey KY,

When I am in a hurry to flower (as in sexing the crop) I usually let two or three new nodes appear after the clone is cut and then flower it. The nodes do not even have to be fully developed as the clone will still grow as it blooms. The reason I wait is to be sure I have a successful clone with a strong enough root system to ensure that the plant can absorb what it needs for the work (flowering) to hand.

i put my girls into flower early since i have a long finishing strain (Neville's Haze). from what i've heard, once you have small roots, give them another 1-2 weeks with some veg ferts, then switch over to flower. remember to keep giving veg ferts the first week or so of flowering to help with the growth and switch. good luck!
