I recently built a bubble cloner, and I was wondering if I should be using a heater for the water. It seems cold to me and its been about 5 days with no signs of roots. The plants look healthy, but like I said no roots. I know people use heat mats for rockwool, so the same must apply for h20, right? Please help

You Are Correct, I Use Aero-Bubbler-Ponic-Cloners, & I Like You Run The Pump 24/7 For The First 3 Days, To Help Heat Up The Water To The Mid-80's, After The 3-Days I Will Set The Pump To On/30min Off/30min, I Like The Room Temp's To Be In The High 80's To 90'ish, With As High Humidity As I Can Get, Just For The Record My Cones Will Start Rooting In 3-Days And Will Be Exploding With Roots By Day 5.
So Yes, You Should Use A Heating Pad To Heat Up The Water.
