some seedbanks and growers give specific schedule or can give advice on amount of nutrients and growth technique if you ask them. however of course this all depends on your grow environment, size/area, nutrients, water....blah blah blah the list goes on and on. best thing to do is find a strain, then look online at this site or google search the strain and see what others have done growing it. "Grow Reports" offer the best advice because it shows exactly how someone grew a plant and what ppms/pH they used in their grow environment. but as for a specific book or source that tells you exactly how to grow a specific strain.....not so sure there is such a definitive source in existence. the problem is that the growing conditions are so circumstantial and conditional on how you are growing.....that someone's grow advice does not in all cases apply to other's grows.
For example: a simple thing like res size can change the nutrient cycle needs. a 2 gallon reservoir will need different levels of nutrients as compared to a 5 gallon. many people say smaller pots need heavier ppm nutrients. in addition, if you have limited space, you may not be able to grow a full-sized plant, so nutrients must be adjusted. as opposed to the person with a giant greenhouse, who can uber-feed the plants until they are 7 feet high.
