Default Grow Big Hydro vs Grow Big Soil

OK...time for my Rookie question of the week...

Have a friend that is growing (soil) using Grow Big made for soil, and by mistake they bought the Hydro version of Grow Big. Can they still feed that to their soil plants?

My thoughts are YES, just feed normal amt's and watch the PPM's. I looked them over on the web and saw that the N-P-K varies between them, so "something" is different.

Any issues that come to mind using a hydro nute in soil? (I can't think of any, but want to be sure cause it ain't my plant..

Mornin ISO. I have some Earth Juice products that can be used both ways and the required dilution is the same for either. Other than that... DUH!

I am not a foxfarm expert, although I have used it several times with good results....
I'd think you'll be fine, maybe use a little more as the soil is stronger.

If you are in doubt, calll them, they are very helpful.

I was originally going to do hydro but chickened out as I felt I didn't know what I was doing. By that time I had already picked up some 3 part GH'ish hydroponics food. It had worked great for me in my mj grow and also for my basil/rosemary/everything.

I should add that I always corrected the pH of the solution and started off with it at 25% strength. Over time I worked up to 100% strength and used it every time the plant needed watering. I would first feed the plant about a half a gallon of RO water, or enough to see some water come out the bottom of the pot. Then I would feed half a gallon of fert to each plant. Please realize that I made method up as I went, it worked for me. One final note is that I grew NL #5 which can take a lot of abuse.
cheers,
R
