|  fan speed ive just got a 125mm centrifugal fan. the only problem is, its too loud and to powerful for my grow cupboard. can i get something to limit the power? peace | ||||||||

| You could get a potentiometer from Radio Shack, and wire it in. If you know what you're doing. I is like the volume knob on a radio. It is basically a variable resistor which adjusts the voltage to the fan. They should be very reasonably priced. A fancy, expensive one would be a router speed control, designed to control the speed of a single speed router. Pappy

| Lagboat: Give Harbor Freight a call...and you can order one of THESE. These are the same speed controllers I use for my Vortex fans, and the same as what the hydro stores sell for $25. Works like a champ with most fans. ISO

| The great thing is they are only $9.95 at Harbor freight.Some hydro store and online sell them for $29.00 to $49.00.You can check this place out I get fans there all the time {surpluscenter.com}.They have great prices and good stuff too.If you do buy one of the little muffle fans get the power cord that plugs in to them for $1.49.There fans run from $7.95 to $49.00.A small place like the cup broad the small fan work good. Peace
