Well, some strains will go thru all the mag and cal that may or may
not be in the soil, rather quickly.
Are you asking about mixing into the soil?
Some will add worm castings and lime.
You should however, be able to give it all it needs thru nutes without
adding anything to the soil.

Ask 50 people this question and you will get 50 answers.
Personally, less is more. Its easier to add something later that
the plants may need, than to remove something they don't.
I use Promix and add nothing more than dolmite lime and Pyroclay3.
Works for me.

Hi Shane I went with Pro Mix this grow and I love it. There is zip in it so I just add nutes and the plants love it. Be careful to add things in cause once it's there you can't get it out too easy. Add some perlite 30-40% light and fluffy for the seedlings.
Once they get a bit bigger they can take a bit more. (nutes etc)
