Bird seed aliens in Britain - Cannabis Sativa

ok i have a parrot and i have noticed hemp seed to be in there. i also use this in bulk for fishing but never had the inclination before now to investigate the hemp seed further.

i have read around alot and gathered alot of comments and it is stated that in the US all hemp seed is sterilised before production. (ok so the seeds by right then either should not sprout > ? is this the case has anyone here tried and reared a hemp bird seed to try ?)

in the uk though this is different as we do not sterilise the import of seeds from china or turkey it appears - but we are led to believe that ALL hemp seed in bird food or fishing supply is void of THC (well containing no more than 0.3)

in here it states that Cannabis Sativa is used in bird seed and imported from countries like china and turkey.
and also

so bearing that i am the inquisitive type i popped a seed in a pot to see what happened.
well so far so good i have a very healthy cannabis plant but wether or not it will produce any THC remains to be seen.



has anyone tried this ? i cannot specify bird mix type as i get mine loose.
what were your findings ?
is it worth continuing the grow ?

Wow...very cool!

Considering how it is strethcing, I would take that little critter and re-pot it into a DEEP pot, covering that stem all the way to about 1" from the leaves. Then, it can root up that entire stem..

Interesting experiement!- Wife just bought some bird seed...damn, where's my magnifying glass!

how vicious must someone be to at one hand feed this diabolic seeds to his beloved pet and at the other keep in mind that the diabolic should be sterilized so no-one could grow the diabolic weed from the seed, or maybe just some more diabolic - since free - bird seeds
