Default Best time to water?

When's the best time to water, before lights out or just before you put them back under the light?

I like to water mine, about an hour before lights out. Than during the process if I see something that needs tending to, I have plenty of time to do it. Like tying up branches or whatever.

Also, I feel that this gives the plant time to absorb the water fully for the next light cycle.
Peace

i think it actually doesn't really metter as long you don't feed em on daily bases or foliage feed - that you really do only if the lights are off and the leaves have time to suck it up - but if you feed em for several days with each watering it doesn't matter if you do it before the lights are on or not.

What matters is that you have to watch how moist the medium is, if at the beginning of the day cycle and see that the soil bone dry you have to water them or they will fry out under your light, but otherwise water them when ever they need water.

I water in the begining of light cycle. I noticed that when i water before lights out, there is still run-off by the time light come on, as appose to all the run-off being either used or evaporated by lights off.
i also found that having run-off during lights off increases the humidity a lot...i think by almost 20% more...
The most important thing imo is too make sure you don't overwater.

It's like the best time to go fishing. Whenever you can.
