Welcome! Agreed that you are better off to wait if you have to take a test. That doesn't mean you can't get your grow started soon so you have plenty when you can partake! Best of luck on the job hunt!

Thanks I'd like to get my grow on. What do you think the best source for seeds is. I really hate to pay a bunch of money for seeds when I think of all the seeds I've thrown away in my life.

If you want to practice you can use bag seed and just grow whatever ya get.

When I started, I was shopping on a budget, and I bought CH9 Jack (from CH9). It was ~ $25 for 10 female seeds and a bonus pack of Mazar-I-Sharif. (I grew both, and have been verrrrrrry happy with both )

But I did try some bag seed first just to make sure everything would germinate/grow. I kept the ones I grew as test plants so that I could abuse them instead of the ones I really wanted to keep. And as they say, practice makes perfect.

I grew some Santa Marta Gold seeds back in 77 and it was crazy good. I don't wanna use **** seeds nor do I want to spend $10 a seed . Am I the only one who thinks this is a rip off. A few years back you could get all kinda seeds from Amsterdam for $1 per seed.

Some of them are a rip off, but you can still do near $1 per seed (including bonus seeds) with some real nice quality. Just take your time looking. (I was at 15 seeds for $25 which is close.)
