I would be very interested to see how that works for you. Ive read some articles that say that it could be the next generation of growing. I sure like the idea of much less power.

Not me. A guy in Colorado. He has 10 - 180s. He's getting a bunch more soon, too.
Here's a link to the grow (it's on another forum): Growing with the 180W Jumbo UFO
There is only one LED that can get results like that and I am lucky enough to work for them. The link is in my sig.

I used a UFO style LED which I got off EvilBay for under $200.00 and although the final result is still not in, I will say that it works. I tested it only during flowering against a 400 Hortilux and each one meter square area had the same variety of plants. The LED side grew a little more during flowering. I think when you get the right combo of light wavelengths they will be fine. The first ones had more white bulbs and looked brighter for human vision but did not do much for the plants. The one I got is mostly red bulbs with about 12 blue. The amount of trichomes looked identical on both types of lights. The fragrance was equal on both sides. I have not done enough testing yet and will post more when I get more on the results. It is nice to save on the power bill!
