Noderunner is on a distinguished road
Default New to this Forum

I am new here, but have already seen a few posts & am looking foward to viewing more... Lots of good info & videos...Which the "Ron Simpson" video worked all the way...
Anyway let me tell you something about myself. I live in a small city in central washington, I think that it has tripled in size since we have lived here, but it is still a very private community, not much socializing if you know what I mean.... Because of my medical condition it is hard to go to social events like parade, fairs, exhibits, shopping or even walks in the park... My stamina being standing or walking is about 15 minutes.... Have not been able to improve upon this for a few years and have not worked steady or at all in 5 years...
I am a 59 year old Namvet and I have been in & out of this condition for the last 18 years, doctors have me on morphine, vicodin & a host of other drugs, that I have become dependent upon.... I finally got my MM Card in April of this year & some relief has occurred, but not enough to cut back on the other meds I am taking... My diseases are as follows, LOL Chronic pain almost every square inch of my body, 4 stents around my heart, 1 mild heart attack, arthritis not sure which one because I think all of it is bad for you, no cartilage in left knee, supposed to get cut on 11/02/09, not really sure that the adding more pain will be worth the final outcome...plus if they do one they may want to do the other then try something on my hips and back... Medically I have a few more problems but that is enough...
I tried growing my own medicine but, drowned my plants.. oh well will try again later.. I only can get information off of the internet and there is so much... to get any physical help I have to drive 180 miles approx one way, which round trip takes 6 hours, then I am tired so I sleep, once that happens 75 to 90 percent of the info I gathered on the previous days trip is lost....LOL doesn't that happen to everyone...
Well, that's another deep subject....
This was not intended for any sympathy or to make anyone feel obligated to contact me these are my own feelings at this point in time, tomorrow is another day, maybe the same, maybe not... I would like to wish all a positively happy day...
Thanx for listening
Doug

Hey Doug, welcome to the forums.

I'm in Washington, too. But, I'm on the coast. If you need a hand with anything, drop me a PM or an email, ok?

Be patient. Relief takes time.
i do not have nearly the pain that you have, i am certain, but I have Fibromyalgia and was bedridden for years. The first time i tried cannabis, i was shocked at how much pain relief I felt. But the real relief has come with prolonged use!

And I got off the vidocan and norco and cymbalta, lamictal, lyrica and a bunch of other drugs they were had me on, as well
continuous use. I mean basically non stop. What I have found is cannabis not only relieves my pain and symptoms, it is healing me! I can stand and walk and help tend our plants and go places without HUGE padded slippers for shoes and several large pillows everywhere i go! lol I was quite a site!

I walk and talk like a normal girl now, thanks to cannabis. Hang in there, it only gets better!
