hey there all........I'm a noob here as well as to growing in general.....
had 6 plants going in home-made closet grow set-up, got 2 vegging still....mainly because I just FIM topped one and other is very healthy and showed female pre-flowers first.....so she will be my mother for future cloning........only 3 currently flowering because male pre-flowers popped up on one, and I don't need any males taking light away from the ladies......all cfl grow for affordability.....two of my females are being grown using bending techniques, for space saving as well as added light to lower nodes......currently using water with traces of peroxide, baking soda, epsom salts, and super thrive....using mixture to battle transplanting as well as what seems to be magnesium and calcium problems........if they don't perk up soon (since they are only a week into flowering) I will flush again....using jorge's medical grow bible for references......and getting ready to start a SOG cycle to maximize my herbs and to always have it as well.....will be starting to post more now, as well as add pictures too....been a long process to get it all set-up with the fact that I work all the freakin time.....but it's my first grow and I plan to continue working on it until the day I die........happy growing!!!!

Welcome to Green Passion! Nice to here you already LST'ing and sounds like Supercropping. Take a look in my signature and see what is in my thread on LST'ing, might be something that could help you.

Welcome Greenfriend! I was in the same boat as you when I came here - new to growing and the site. Well let me tell you that this place is a well of knowledge full of extremely helpful people. And trust me, if they could get me going on my growing way then they can help anyone. If you are using CFL's (like I am) browse through the Indoor - CFL forum. There is alot of great info in there. Be sure to check out the grow journals, that is where I found alot of the answers to my questions. I am still new to growing aswell, almost ready to start flowingering my first soil grow and just started my first hydro grow. I have read a few books, and if money is really an issue there are some great ones online (if you want to throw me a private message I could email them to you {or anyone who wants them} I all the files saved on my comp at home, one is a book by Ed Rosenthal - which I find to be a great source of info) The only advice I can really give you is dont let a kitten into your grow area! I love kitty to death (actual name Layla but 95% of the time we call her kitty) but if she attacks one of the other ladies in my life again......so I dont know what I will actually do, she too damn cute for her own good...but i wont be happy.
