actually, since you offered, i was wondering if you know much about lights, and if so, would able to help me compare a CFL setup vs other more expensive hps or metal halide setups?....

Sure, Tell Me More About Your Grow Space, CFL's Work Great For Small Spaces, But You Can't Beat A HPS If You Have The Room, & Have Good Air Exchange ect...

Here Are Some Link's To Check Fluorescents~CFL's, T-5's,T-8's,T-12's - GreenPassion.org - Dedicated to Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation and Education. , The HID Den - GreenPassion.org - Dedicated to Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation and Education. , LED Growing - GreenPassion.org - Dedicated to Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation and Education. , If You Have Any More ??? well, for my 1st grow, the one i was askin about earlier, i only have a closet, and no ventalation besides fans, so, i opted for 4 85watt cfl two of which are for veg and two of which are for bloom. this is for 3 plants using a bubbleponics system. will this be sufficient lighting to have quality results, and on another note, i have two extra red bloom bulbs to spare. when i start to bud them, should i switch to all red bulbs, or leave two of each spectrum? (that is, assuming im not wasting my time completely with this lighting system...)

With CFL's, The More The Better Up To A Point & Not Causing To Much Heat, So Ya, If It's Not Making To Much Heat For The Closet, More CFL's The Better.

And Ya, We Have Seen Many Great Grows With Just CFL's.
