Are you smoking too much weed?? I WANT TO START THE MAGAZINE. Quit trying to talk me out of it. It's not going to happen. Thanks for the replies, but **** you guys just don't get it. I'm not giving my money to someone else. I want to create something of my own. I want to have my own voice, not pay $35 to join norml so they can send me some brochures.

4kaan4 thanks man, I am going to start collecting patient profile submissions for the magazine. So if anyone is a medical marijuana user and wants to be heard they you can right an essay for submission. Talk about what you have gone through and the hopes you have for medical mj. We are going to feature one patient submission every issue. Also a lot of our stories are going to come from freelance writers, so if you have a story that you think needs to be shared then feel free to submit. I will set up an email address for the mag once the name is finalized. Right now it is being called The Medical Marijuana Journal, but other titles are being debated. Thanks.

Green is just responding to your post in a thoughtful way

Your mag is a neat idea....but to make it work you will need to enlist the help of others....pehaps you need a little more diplomacy to match your enthusiasm in order to reach your goal

note that further abuse of members will result in a ban from the site temporarily if not permantantly

please feel welcome to be part of the site if you can abide by the rules of this community....and ugliness to members in your first thread is no way to work with people.

Also Norml is a great organization that impacts the public both on the political and informational level....not just collecting cash for literature...cool out!

are you serious? I don't think anyone's feelings were hurt by what i typed. I know what norml is. I know what they do. this isn't about norml. i wasn't trying to "abuse" other members but only show my level of commitment. i'll put my nose in the corner for 10 mins to show that i am sorry. anyways i set up an email address for people to start submitting: TheMMjournal@yahoo.com. please, go smoke a bowl and calm down scott. i'll play nice.

funny I thought I was calm...you could tell because I didn't use any profanity...I didn't belittle anyone....and I was supportive of what you had to communicate about your mag..very different from your posts wasn't it?

you on the other hand have made it clear how much you know...how the rest of us don't get it....

you are now banned for 24 hours, and I think you are right I will smoke a bowl and calm down even more...you also calm down think about how this might have been more productive as will I.

I will leave your thread intact for any members who chooses to submit "their" personal stories to "your" mag because while you are being a drama queen already...the mag may indeed be a very good thing and I hope it works out well

come back and play nice if you would like when the ban is over.

You are out of line, dude. If a person cannot express an honest emotion such as frustration when he is not being heard, then maybe you had better consider your fascist, nontolerant attitude. If you want to ban me for being American and expressing an opinion I will gladly go elsewhere.

GS was someone that has no record of post with us, shows up, is conflictual at the very least, and wants the membership to open up and share the personal stories with him so he can use them in a mag that he didn't even mention until several posts into the thread...he was insulting to several members already and we don't need drama in here!

you are welcome to express your opinion and remember that I as a mod am just doing my best to help keep this the kind of community you found attractive in the first place

I do respect your advocacy of free speach and the passion with which you responded

GP is not a public place...it is a group of members and Vid and others pay for this space to exist....anyone can express anything anyway anywhere but not necessarily in here...it is more like a club or association

Please give me some slack as I am just trying to do a job here

Even if he isn't getting the feedback he wants he needs to be respectfull of all the members. We dont need vulgarity to get a point across, that's why it's starred out. just chill man, the drama just makes people pissed, it never helps.

Just to be clear on this and why this member was given a time out here are the rules for this site. If you break the rules, you will be told, and we will take the necessary steps as soon as possible. So play by the rules and show respect for one and all. Or don't use the site. It is that easy.
