Rep Power: 0 | | dergruene from germany interested in hemp oil
Hello,
This is dergruene from germany. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Sorry for my bad english but since german is my native language...well i'll do my best.
Hope medical mj gets legalized in germany soon, but in this regard most germans are rather conservative and our government rejected some proposal 10 months ago which would make medical cannabis easier to get for a broader range of people which really need it. They just gave in to big pharma. I think my grand children will someday celebrate the legalization of medical marijuana but i might not be alive until then. and i am 30 yrs old right now.
now
i am here to learn as much as i can so in case i am still alive when cannabis is legal medicine over here, i just want to be at the forefront to this issue, beeing there when the knowledge is needed. Just know some people that might be helped by the oil, but i am just such a covard and don't wanna grow because i think when i am busted, other people close to me might as well be negatively affected in ways never intended by themselves, and i am guilty of smashing their live aspirations and plans. That's my situation right now.
Ok, that's for now, Regards, dergruene.

Willkommen! Sadly I don't speak German, but you seem to speak English well enough. This is definitely a good place to learn, and it's likely off any German radar. (Just don't reuse your name anywhere else.)
But I understand your feelings about the people close to you. I sincerely hope that if I go down, no one else goes with me. (I have nightmares about the police breaking down the door and shooting my very nice/innocent dog for the fun of it, for example.)
That being said, there are some amazingly stealthy micro grows out there, but MJ needs informed non-growers too. | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to SmokeToLive For This Useful Post: | |

thanks for all your warm welcomes.
I will definitely do my best to spread the word about it.
By the way, what do you think about intelligent electric usage counters? They wanna swap it all over germany. These guys want to market this crap as helping you out with using electricity more efficient but they might also use this to go after all indoor growers, sindce they have energy usage patterns in real time, they might as well do pattern matching and there you go.
Recently some cops went into somebodys house just because the electric bill went up so dramatically from one month to another. And while they caught some grower with this suspicion they went also after some guys who never dreamed of growing pot. But this suspicion of an unexplainable shift in electricity usage makes the cops watchful at you. Just some crazy guy from the electricity company tipping you off, and the whole thing comes down at you. But there are still the companies out there who don't care as long as you pay your bills at time, but they aren't as lenient as they used to be in the past. Now these halfbaked cops and blockwards are popping out everywhere.
How's it going in the US? Does government spy on your electricity bills?
Regards, dergruene.

I wish most Americans could speak English so well...
To answer your question, yes, they are doing it in places where they have the "smart grid". Soon, they will have complete control.
It's very 1984.

Rep Power: 500 | | Article on this "smart grid" crap. Obama putting $3.4B toward a 'smart' power grid
By CHARLES BABINGTON, Associated Press Writer Charles Babington, Associated Press Writer – 50 mins ago
ARCADIA, Fla. – President Barack Obama made a pitch for renewable energy Tuesday, announcing $3.4 billion in government support for 100 projects aimed at modernizing the nation's power grid.
Touring a field of solar energy panels in west-central Florida, the president urged greater use of several technologies to make America's power transmission system more efficient and better suited to the digital age. The projects include installing "smart" electric meters in homes, automating utility substations, and installing thousands of new digital transformers and grid sensors.
"There's something big happening in America in terms of creating a clean-energy economy," Obama said, although he added there is much more to be done.
He likened the effort to the ambitious development of the national highway system 50 years ago. He said modernization would lead to a "smarter, stronger and more secure electric grid."
Under muggy skies, Obama toured the DeSoto Next Generation Solar Energy Center, which is designed to generate enough energy for about 3,000 residential customers of the utility FPL. It is the nation's largest photovoltaic electricity facility.
Obama said a modern grid could give consumers better control over their electricity usage and costs, and spur development of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar.
The $3.4 billion in grants from the government's January economic stimulus program will be matched by $4.7 billion in private investments. The smallest grant will be $400,000 and the largest $200 million.
"We have a very antiquated (electric grid) system in our country," Carol Browner, assistant to the president for energy and climate change, told reporters. "The current system is outdated, it's dilapidated."
Matt Rogers, the Energy Department official involved in the program, said the 100 projects were selected from 400 proposed. The money will be distributed over the next two months and the work is expected to be done over the next one to three years, he said.
Even as Obama pitched more efficient and renewable energy use, his trip to Arcadia made it clear that old habits and dependencies die hard. He arrived in a motorcade of gas-guzzling SUVs. While waiting for the motorcade to get started, several vans kept their engines running to provide air conditioning for occupants escaping a hot Florida sun.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which has been at odds with Obama over health care, energy and other matters, praised the clean-energy initiative.
