heya my cannabinoid friends!!

it's good to have reached this forum, specially since it has lots of information about medical cannabis, among other very interesting stuff of course ;)

i'm a young activist from argentina, my name is Juan and i'm about to be 24 yrs. i've been dedicating some part of my time to activelly do something to change the prehistoric laws that reign over here, i guess more or less the same that people is living on USA. we're hoping that for the next year owning cannabis for personal use will be decriminalized, and therefore opening our chance to keep on fighting to be able to grow our own weed, and also starting seed banks, group grow areas and everything related to da free will that we have as citizens, always related to cannabis and it's uses. all this energy to change things comes from my realization that this laws are worse than the drug they are trying to "control" and also after i found on cannabis an a w e s o m e medicine that helped me lots in my managing my depression and boderline personality disorder. (unleashed by an abuse of other narcotics...but that's a story for some other time...)

after this event we've been meeting with a group of people that was willing to start doing something and gathering volunteers to create some space that will represent us into the govertment, something like an association. it's rollin' it's way to be...

well, i guess that's a bit what i'm into and who am i.
i hope i can make lots of new friends over here and share a lots of experiences, not only as an activist, but also as a grower and as a person...after all that's what we all are. feel free to contact me ;)

it's a pleasure beeing here, i think it'll be more than useful. i'm actually getting into some foreign forums, such as icmag and they've been more than helpful with lots of information. for sure this won't be the exception as far as i have seen.

i found that weed it's the most awesome antidepressant and mood stabilizer ever. i've tried many legal meds designed to treat my "borderline personality disorder" and none of them work as good as marijuana. for sure they have helped, but i've felt that cannabis it's much more effective due to it's quickness in achieving the effect needed (when u have a depression comming a couple of hits will stop the mood comming down...) and also in reducing the amotivational syndrome associated to depression. as soon as i smoke i feel the necessity to doing something productive, wether it is my standard job, or any other idea i have going on in my mind that withouth mary jane just keeps being an idea, plan, and never gets done.

i hope laws change overhere, not only cos medical uses, also cos recreative uses. all of us know the beneffits of da herb, both as a medicine and as a relaxant (or anything u find it helps ya with)

that's a lil bit of how good da plant has been to me, and just thinking in the clinical side of it....if we consider the therapy of cultivating we get into a vast territory to xplore..
