Who's' got the number$ on the price difference of home grown over a dispensary?

I do home grown and with electricity, water, gas, supply's of around $50. a month.

Say it takes one grow 4 months total X $50. a month = $200 for the 4 months.

Say I get 2 oz from one plant, X $500 street = $1000
My cost with say 4 plants brings it down to $25 a oz?
I don't know the cost at dispenary but I guess $320 an oz? + $150. state registration

Obviously more plants would bring down the cost and with a better return.

I'm starting to see why if it becomes legal they might take away personal grows.

Lumix when I got sick my doctor signed forms for me to access mm through a local dispensary. This was gr8t nice and safe and quality meds. The only problem I found was not being able to afford the quantities I needed to help me with pain.

That and being in a legal dilemma I was worried about being arrested for having it and finding a non compassionate cop and I was a goner.

These were my reasons for applying and recieving my MMAR exemption in Canada. Your number examples are good enough for me for the long run aside feom the start up costs and some additional add ons. LOL I love going to my local hydro store.

Cost is an issue and I hope that never gets taken away from me.

$3-$9 not around this part of the world. LOL More like $9-13 and on a fixed income and trying to get off 100's /mg/day of Oxycontin and Percocet for pain I was going broke. LOL

If this was a cheap as the grass on your front lawn it would be fine for me. And fine for everyone else. I hope.

in california to get your MM card its about $150 (that includes the card, not just the doc's permission note)

where i go, the prices at the dispensary range from $200 an ounce (seedless, and still quite good, a far step above 'mids'), up to $400-450 an ounce (this is for the dankest of the dank... that you drool over when they open it to show you). MOST of the prices are around 45-55 an eighth (probably 10-12 of the 20-some strains in stock), which is about $300 an ounce. you can also get "shake" from the bottom of the bag for around $30 an eighth from the good stuff (the stuff that is usually 60 an eighth regular)

so prices in dispensaries are not really that much better than those on the street.....its just that its legal.

larger grows with alot of space can probably get prices down to those low amounts per ounce, but its hard when many people have limited space

by the way, the price for a gram in a dispensary is $15-25 if you buy it individually.
