Default My wife is becoming a care giver. Were looking for proven strains against Nausea.

My wife who is a RN (registered nurse) is going to take on 2 patients of her own in the next few months. Ive been a caregiver for her uncle for almost a year now and besides a recent mold issue things have gone along pretty well. I've focused on pain management with my strain selection but my wife had a different thought in mind. She felt that most of her patients in the hospital can deal fairly well with pain but Nausea is something thats hard to tolerate. Pain often accompanies nausea so she wants to grow a proven strain or two that focuses primarily on Nausea.
Were looking for some input on the best strains for nausea, please help us out. I have read many post but we'd like to hear from patients who actually found relief from nausea and what strains worked best for them. Many thanks, 2 Rn's from Rhode Island...

I've personally experienced a lion's share of nausea, and the strain I have been growing, CH9 Jack, has definitely helped. I can only really compare it to Mazar-i-Sharif, some local strains, or mexibrick. Obviously, both are FAR better than the mexibrick.

I think the Jack has worked a little better for nausea and the Mazar for pain. Though that is all subjective. But both are strong enough to sedate me if I were to need it. (What does it matter if you can't feel your stomach? )

Anyway, they're both good, and I'm sure better exists. Good luck on your search!

Hi Randy. I'm in the process of setting up my collective with 30 patients. We're doing a co-op grow. For the patients that have had nausea from Chemo you can try:
Silver Haze
White Widow
Sweet Kush
Sour Diesel OG
Cali Mist
Pot of Gold
Not everyone gets the same results. Each patient might have to try several strains to find the best results. After August 1st I'll have more personal contact with each patient and my knowledge about treatments will expand. Feel free to contact me. If I can help I will and if I don't know the answer I'll help you find it.
