Yeah I seen this story first thing this morning.

Seems kinda exciting that the government is making some sort of effort to address the issues.

WoW that is so interesting, my how the technology has (not) changed.

Many years ago, I remember buyng my 1st video vending machine.
It was state of the art, for the time, at a cost of 17k each, they worked like crap too. Eventually they all ended up in the back of empty warehouses.

Something just dosent seem right to me in this case too, the owner claims that as they enter the store, they are greeted by a security guard?

Than he says its cheaper to distribute this way? How is a paid employee, (the guard) plus the cost of the machine, plus the electricity to run it, cheaper than a clerk selling the ganja face to face? Obviously the guards are a short term plan?

The guard is likely there anyway after-hours. Many business use them for added security, and having a NON-smoking guard sounds like a damn good idea in a bud-shop.

Since he/she is there anyway, they might as well earn a little of their income!
