|  Marijuana Effective Against Mad Cow Disease 09/17/2007 04:40 PM Study Shows Marijuana Component May Be Effective Against Mad Cow Disease New Zealand: The National Organisation for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (Norml) has claimed that a study conducted in France shows that a component of marijuana is effective against bovine spongiform encephalopathy, commonly known as mad cow disease. The study found that one of the non-psychoactive ingredients, cannabidiol, prevented the accumulation of proteins associated with progressive neurodegenerative disorders in animals. Norml has called for the medicinal use of cannabis to be legalised. "[It] should be supported by any MP with a clear head. | That's a good one Roseman and GP you are right about the mad 'politician' disease. There are many positive things about this plant and others that we are just starting to discover.
