Does Marijuana have a positive affect for those with ADHD? I'm just curious about this because after I started smoking I don't get as mad easy or have a temper as much as I use to.. And also is there any strains that mainly help with ADHD?

Hey Tyler, you not the only one, generally every strain works, sativa as indica as both will shill your temper with their THC. you should try to **** with some bud, make some canna-butter for cookies. the effect last way longer then smoked as metabolized THC is 4 times as potent then just smoked THC! so a little brownie with sativa butter could get you thru the day without downing you too much. I would give it a try next weekend

A few years back at a school where I worked, we had an ADHD 7th grader who was failing badly! He started coming to school REEKING of pot (hotboxing in the car on the way to school?). He did his best work on those days. It took the teacher several weeks to catch on (as an aide, I work more closely with the kids). Once the teacher caught on to what was happening, the teacher and I just looked at each other and didn't say a word. The kid passed by the skin of his teeth. The kid moved that summer so I was not able to observe if his ability to do school work continued in 8th grade.

I can say it helps very much so when you just need everything to just wind down, or when you need that added perk to your step through those certain days. I can also say it does handicap you in a sense, if you use it often. My personality changes drastically, whether or not I see the effects as positive, im just not sober. Ive missed out on quite a few things in life not directly due to marijuana, but because of my choosing to rather be in my comfortable state under the influence. Hope this helps

Whats Up! The only strain I have seen that is recomended for ADD and ADHD is G-13. Not the G-13 Haze but the staright G-13 Indica. The Flying Dutchmans G-force is a G-13XSkunk cross. Very nice strain but not the best yield. Good Luck with your ADHD. Im sure most Indica and Skunk strains will help the most.
