Hello my Friends and welcome to my new grow journal.
First of all I'd like to say thank you to Jangel for encouraging me to start this journal we all need a gentle push now and then I believe so here we go...
I've made some changes to my grow space since the last time.I expanded my garden and made another space for cloning.I got tired of growing from seeds all the time.yes,the whole grow is going to take a bit longer now but I'll benefit from having constant supply of clones from strong mothers.so the first chapter of that journal is going to be a quest for some good mums
I had some seeds left after the last grow - AK-48 and Bubblelicious and I ordered some new ones - Papaya and Aurora Indica. All seeds came from Nirvana.
I germinated 5 seeds of each type and had no problems with Ak,Bb and P. Aurora was different - only one seed from that lot germinated and I had to try to germinate another 5.eventually I got only 5 seedlings from 10 seeds and only 3 of them kept growing.sad :(
there's currently 18 plants growing in my garden.Ak and Bb are doing fantastic, P and AI ...well...so so....It's their 2nd week of veg (I don't count the first week from seed ).
and here comes the first question about cloning.I've never done it before and I don't know when to start.I'd like to determine plants' sex as quickly as possible to remove males.the problem is all the plants I have are Indica dominant and don't grow long branches.can I take cuttings from bottom branches when they're about 2-3 inch long? as I say I just need to check their sex.I'd be gratefull for some directions.
I'll post some new pictures (oooh yeeees!!!!) later on in the evening.
