One thing with going outside then inside, you are taking a chance on bringing in creepie crawlies. I would leave them under the light only, say for 18 hrs on 6 off. I have my vegging plants under 24 hr light as well but start my seedlings under floroescents. Even cheap T-8's will do for the first few weeks. And they use a lot less power than your big light. Untill they get more leaves the big light is not really nessecary.
