Okay, well, what I would do it is get a smaller pot right off the hop, add some perlite to it, and replant it in the smaller pot. When you use such a big pot this is one of the problems that happens, plus the soil can stay dry in one spot, saturated in another and with no air because of not enough perlite, you will get a sad sick plant. You will most likely be able to scoop out the plant, but you might damage some roots. How warm is it where the plant is? I don't want you to kill it, sweetie, just save it. Does it look alright? do you have pics?
