Denats, I would give them another few days. Granted, outlook isn't perfect, but there's always hope.
Here's what I would do. Take a take a piece of newspaper (cut down, if needed) and lay it over the top of the pots, covering all but about a 1/4" slice of one edge. Set them under a CFL about 8", but covered as suggested above.
Keep the top soil slightly moist (not soaked...just moist), and check them a couple times per day. I've had excellent success with the method described in the attachment you provided, with a couple twists, of course..
Now, I'm a newbie at seeds too, but this method worked great for me.
I soaked the seeds overnight in 1-strain per cup of brewed Lipton tea (after it gets cold!). Set in fridge or cool area overnight. The tea has tannin in it and it helps to soften the shell and allow it to open easier for the new kid to escape.
I fix the pots as suggested (3" with my soil blend...very light) and set the seeds about 1/2" deep on pre-moistened soil, then cover with dry and then pouring 1 TBL pH'd h20 over the top. Then I cover with newpaper and set them about 2'+ under the T-5's. Once they sprout and open the baby leaves fully I start introducing them to the light, and by the first days end they are happy as clams about 18" under the lights.
Just went 12/12 on assorted strains, all sprouted in a total of 6 days... Not always perfect, but it'll do!
