How big is the space you are hoping to veg in? For the small T=5's they are small, mine are 24 inches. You are right about the cfl's as well, you can adjust to your hearts content. I do use both, so I understand what you are saying. Give us a size and we can help you better. Also, no matter which you use, you will still need an exhaust system, as heat is our enemy. You must have an exhaust and cold air intake. Exhaust high up in the cab or box, as hot air rises, for instance, 4 inches, must have a passive cold air intake lower in the grow to add twice the measurement of cold air to the space. So that would be 8 inches of passive cold air intake at the bottom and opposite side to aid in air circulation. That is more important than anything else, almost. Especially with cfl's as they do produce a lot of heat. Let us know further details and we will help you with it.
