You can't go wrong with Rapid Rooter's. Love those things. I have had 100% germination rate, (although two seeds grew upside down). Just soak the seeds in water over night until they absorb water and sink. You can plug the hole with some shredded RR material. Then add 1/4 inch of water to the bottom of the tray and you are set. Then sow them seeds. Some seeds have a hard shell, and may need to be scuffed first, before soaking. Just place a piece of sand paper in a match box, ad your seeds and shake. |
