I have become interested of late in numismatics & exonumia, most notably; notaphily or scripophily (scrip) from coal & timber towns of ole. The more I study the more clear our current quandry becomes; you see we are again a servile feudal class; working for chits, wooden nichols, chinky tin. But it has been this way for awhile. "US money" in my lifetime has, as it is now, only been "worth" anything cause "they" say-so.
The man on the tv tells me he will give me cash for my gold; cash I can then spend at the company store, cash that is in reality worthless paper. I contend the drop in "value" has come,(the very thing that made the average American aware of this now) because of the coming unionization.
