Im thinking the loose piece is sitting correctly in the second pic and just needs to be "installed" under the outer ring. it would then provide a lip to attach ducting. Of course not seeing the whole thing clearly doesnt help. |
no screws, no threating, noting to remove the top of the filter to place it on the inside as far as i can see...
i will check once more as this makes the most sense to me right now if this flange would fit but as said - can't see where to open it...
