Well shouldn't the client provide proof of the ailment in some form? I used to have prescriptions all the time for certain kind of medications. Although I no longer have them and the doctor still calls, they are prescribed for certain things. I have disposed of everything just in case because they are outdated I do not want trouble but to switch over to another kind of medication I believe the person who provides the alternative would want to see the pill bottles, prescriptions, etc. just to make sure and protect their interests. I seriously doubt Mr. White was under the influence of marijuana and most likely intoxicated with alcohol which is one of the largest contributing factors to death by car accident in the world.
