It all depends on how long you let them veg for. I have found that production stops and the plant goes into a downward slide if they are root bound. So let your plant tell you. I replant when there are roots coming out the bottom. Mine are in big pails, some 5 gal. some 3 gal, and I know they have lots of room for growth during flowering. I planted them up right before going to 12/12. Just always remember, you have good "feet" (roots) you will have good buds. It is all balanced together.
