What a great thread! I have a done a lot with this as I have 9 different larger types of plants plus a few that where gifts as well. I have truely botched it up in the past and I still don't know for positive what I am flowering now as I screwed up so badly. And what I have found that if it is loose and not attached to the plant and you have several varieties, through transplanting and moving around plants you are bound to get screwed up. So what I am doing now is marking leaves with sharpie markers and using tags attached to branches or leaves. I have even found that using tags you can get from grocery bulk food marts are great. I know, somewhat larcenous but hey, we pay for the food! Anyway, here are some pics of ways I am trying now. Love to here other ideas. For clones and younger ones, I even reuse flower tags written over in sharpie markers.

Peace
