thank you 4kaan4.I I decided for 3 toppings and 2 trees that time for exactly that reason,to find out the difference.I could keep my plants flowering the whole prescribed time if I began flowering just after they grew the 3rd leaf (usually 2 weeks old) so very early. but I had to wait at least 2 weeks for the first flowers then as the plant was concentrating on branching and growing stems. The plants 4 or more weeks old before turning 12/12 gave flowers much sooner (2-3 days after start) hence I thought it natural to harvest them a week or week and a half before they were due.but topped plants matured even faster - sometimes it was 60% of the time they normally flower (it came very useful with sativa strains with flowering time 7-11 weeks, but still I wasn't sure if that was normal they finished so quickly)
also intensity of flowering changed the cycle and most flowers grew in 3rd and 5,5th week compared to 4th and 8th week with early flowered plants.
generally I had a feeling that matured and topped plants flower constantly and intensely for some period of time and stop then finishing early when trees had two waves of flowers.
guys,I understand that what I write about is obvious to most of you, but it took me a while to figure it out on my own so maybe somebody will have a use of that.
4keen4, thx once more.
